Our journey began with a single handcrafted candle made by Dalit artisans in Mumbai, creating dignified employment and sustainable income opportunities for individuals often excluded from economic opportunity. Today, Dalit Goods partners with skilled artisans and community producers across India, offering ethically sourced, handmade products, including our much-loved clay candles made in Dharavi, coconut oil soaps from Kerala, hand-painted home décor from Kashmir, and many other unique fair-trade gifts.
