Terms and Conditions
We accept the following methods of payment for purchases made online at Dalit Goods Co.

Credit Card Validation
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the checkout stage. In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the IMRG Security Alert or any other Fraud Prevention Scheme. At all times where we disclose your information it will remain secure.
Standard delivery - We aim to deliver all orders in the UK within 2-5 working days, By Royal Mail First class or by our courier. However, sometimes during sale periods or other busy periods, deliveries may take longer. If you have not received your delivery within 10 working days, please contact us via the contact page.
Express Delivery - Orders can be delivered by Express Delivery (if ordered by 12 noon) at an extra charge. Orders sent by express delivery will be despatched the same working day, and normally arrive 24-48 working hours.
If you are not in when we try to deliver and cannot find a safe location to leave the package, a card will be left, where you will be able to collect your item at your local post office. Please follow the instructions on the card. If the item is not picked up within 21 days it will be returned to us. If you wish to have it redelivered, the customer will have to pay the delivery costs again, or accept refunded minus delivery charge.
If you would like to specify a safe place or a particular neighbour for your parcel to be left with, please add these instructions at the checkout. You may also add some additional information to help the courier find your delivery address.
We advise all orders to be delivered to a work address.
Returns & Refunds
We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. The customer is responsible for cost of postage of returned items. We would advise to obtain proof of postage. DO NOT return any items before contacting us.
Please contact us within 7 days of placing your order. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment of the cost of the item.
Damaged Items : Claim Procedure
- Claims for items damaged on delivery must be made within 7 days of receipt of the package.
- Contact us via the contact us link at the top of the website to let us know about the damaged item.
- Do not return the item without us advising you to do so.
- Please keep all the original packaging.
- Do not dispose of the item unless we instruct you to do so as we often need a photograph of the item to claim against the carrier, or we might ask you to return the item to us at our expense.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as most of our range is individually handmade, colours, sizes and styles may differ slightly from the product image on our website. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
Once you have checked out and your order has been confirmed you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the confirm button. We reserve the right to cancel an order. Cancellation of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:
- The product ordered being unavailable from stock.
- Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment.
- The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion.
If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations before your order has been dispatched.
USE OF WEBSITE
You are permitted to use our website for your own purposes and to print material from this Website provided that you do not modify any content without our consent. Material on this website must not be republished online or offline without our permission. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website are owned by our licensors or us and must not be reproduced without our prior consent.
Images on this website have been taken or paid for by Dalit Goods Co.
All purchases are made in acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Dalit Goods Co. cannot be held responsible for any delays, such as postal strikes, holidays, which are wholly outside our control. We do occasionally update these terms so please refer back to them in the future.
Your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
